Silk Scarf Give Away and Visible Monday

Late last year, WomenClothingToday.com contacted me and asked if I would promote their handmade silk scarves. Like any responsible blogger, I poked around their website and Facebook page before I gave them a reply.

This is what I discovered:

So, of course I agreed to promote them!

WomenClothingToday.com promptly sent me a sample to experience their products' beauty and quality firsthand. They sent me this Sun Music 2 silk scarf in a 26.5" x 26.5" square.

Isn't it vibrant and gorgeous? I love the olive and forest green shades. And the red poppies really stand out.

I styled the scarf a few different ways.

First, I wore it with my red slacks, leopard jacket, black and cognac gloves, and a vintage Mulberry satchel - a recent gift from a dear friend.

I simply folded the scarf in half, point-to-point, tied it around my neck in the back, then tucked it into my jacket.

For another look, I tied the scarf on my Mulberry bag, folding it lengthwise and securing it to one side of a strap. I find that this size, 26.5" x 26.5" is much easier to do this with than a 36" x 36".

For a more casual look, I wore it with a burgundy blazer, new distressed boyfriend jeans from Gap, and burgundy ballet flats by Vaneli.

The scarf has a splash of bordeaux right across the middle section that is a deep red wine shade.
